In spring 2007, AIP created a mini-web of mini-Drupal sites (seven sites in one) for Joint Oceanographic Institutions (now the Consortium for Ocean Leadership). This system allows personnel from each of the organization's seven programs to separately manage their own page content, press releases, multimedia files and newsletters.
